If you supervise employees, contractors, agents or students; teach or advise students; or have management authority related to a UA-sponsored program or activity, you have certain responsibilities under the UA’s Nondiscrimination and Anti-harassment Policy (link). These responsibilities include:

• Promptly notifying the Office of Institutional Equity (OIE) if you are informed of or have a reasonable basis to suspect someone has violated the UA’s Nondiscrimination and Anti-harassment Policy;

• Promptly notifying the Dean of Students Office if the alleged policy violater and the person who is the subject of the conduct are students; and

• Engaging in appropriate measures to prevent violations of this policy.

You can file a formal complaint of discrimination with OIE within 180 days of the most recent incident of discrimination, in accordance with our Procedures.
