As members of the University community, we share in the responsibility of creating and supporting an environment free of harassment and discrimination. In support of our commitment to this goal, the University is proud to offer a harassment prevention program to its employees and designated campus collegues (DCC), in the form of online training. Through a series of engaging scenarios and activities, you will learn important principles and develop skills to enhance your working and educational relationships. The program will conclude with a comprehensive quiz.
All employees, and D.C.C. at the University of Arizona are required to take one of the two trainings:
For Employees and Non-supervisory Designated Campus Colleagues:
For Supervisors and Faculty including Designated Campus Colleagues with supervisory responsibilities:
If you have taken this training prior to September 2014, we ask that you complete one of the updated versions.
Furthermore, additional training for employees and DCC's, working directly with students is available to employees as a supplementary resource:
You will need both your NetID and password to access the trainings. The training can usually be completed in 20 - 30 minutes. If you are unable to complete the training in one sitting, you may exit it at any time and then re-access it from the point where you left off by logging in at the same link above. Please be prepared to print your Certificate of Completion to create a record for yourself, your supervisor, or other requesting administrator. You may also copy and paste your Certificate of Completion into an email message, and then forward the message to yourself, your supervisor, or other requesting administrator. For additional guidance and direction, please review the following Online Training Tutorial.
Program completion records are maintained by the Office of Institutional Equity. Supervisors may request a department’s completion report by calling us directly at (520) 621-9449, or emailing us at email@example.com.
