In addition to our online training options, the Office of Institutional Equity offers in-person instruction on the following subject matters:
OIE’s basic Title IX training is designed to lay a foundational understanding of Title IX regulations, to whom they apply, what they provide in terms of campus support, and institutional expectations for their application. Trainees will learn how to recognize a Title IX issue, and specifically how to refer the concerned party, where to report the matter, and how to make a proper record of those actions.
Nondiscrimination and Anti-Harassment Policy
NAHP training educates trainees about what discrimination is, whom it affects, and the way it can change the work environment when allowed to proliferate. The training provides tools for recognizing discrimination, preventing it, and properly responding to it when appears to be occurring. Concepts like harassment, retaliation, “hostile work environment” and accommodations are covered in the training, as well.
