Title VI Training
This training is designed to help university community members understand their rights and responsibilities under Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the University of Arizona’s prohibition of discrimination and harassment based on a person’s actual or perceived race, color, national origin, ethnicity, or shared ancestry. Community members have a right to report discrimination to the university through the Office of Institutional Equity. This training will review the protections of Title VI and the university’s Nondiscrimination and Anti-harassment Policy, individuals’ rights and responsibilities related to reporting Title VI discrimination, and the steps the university will take when a report of discrimination is received.
